Still don’t quite understand what your saying or indeed if your talking about our company? It wouldn’t be the first time that we have been confused with other suppliers as Nige could vouch for.
As far as I know, we have never ever sent out cards, or mail shots or anything else remotely like that so I would have to question just who’s card dropped on your mat.??? As for being told to P off Nah we don’t do that either.
What we do do though, is try to give good honest advice to people looking to move to computerisation and or data despatch, even if it means at times telling them to keep hold of their money. You see Yorkie, given we speak with literally hundreds of companies big and small each year and have done for a very long time, we are in a very good position to asses their needs and determine if our products will provide them with any real benefit. We don’t like to turn away business but if we feel that a company is looking for some kind of magic wand that can miraculously transform their business, then we are doing them a very great favour in not taking their dosh! In these circumstances, we’re normally thanked for our honesty.
As for doing a demonstration for you, well we don’t do that either! (well not very often). In the past when we were manufacturing for Halda, we saw first hand the effects of having salesmen on the road. Sure it brought in some sales but the majority of potential customers balked at the price which of course included the hotel bills, expense account and the obligatory BMW of the sales rep. What we do now is point any potential customer to the nearest site. We don’t have any bad ones, least ways I hope not, and they can’t all be selected sites. If we’ve not done our job right I’m sure they’ll tell you.
Anyway Andy, we do our best and can’t win em all.
