They've got to be joking surely?

I dont think the thought occurred they could have increased radio subscriptions?

That aside, presumably this is why they intend to b*gger off to deregland next door and get free HC plates?

Scroll up to the report.....otherwise call shropshire council first and ask them, you could also ask them the number of the person who spoke to the press about 300% increases.

Dont say I dont try to help.......and save you money on phone calls.

PS......JD did at least have a personality

But it was you who was claiming whatever, so applying the Brummie doctrine you should substantiate it or that makes you ill-informed. According to Brummie anway.

Oh dear, getting a bit personal, aren't we?

Well if having a personality consists of calling people retarded, window lickers etc and trying to frighten people then I'm quite happy without one, thank you :D

I merely put a post on TDO copied from a press cutting......if I and others didnt do that, TDO would be pretty pointless.

I didnt actually agree with what Brummie said.......you made a point according to the article......then your head was ripped off......without Brummie providing proof that you were wrong.

I offered you an avenue of escape, one which in hindsight I regret.

PMSL....if you wrote books....they wouldnt sell or create a laugh, I think people read what i write and then either think about what I wrote, or think I'm a t*sser......personally, I dont know, but I get a feeling you believe the latter?.........but I often think people are jealous because of the opportunity I have been given......which is sad.

Indeed, and I was being facetious. Sorry, but I didn't start it.

Oh, I must have missed that bit. Your point was obviously as subtle to me as my humour is to you.

I actually thought you were putting the boot in, with Mr T joining in for good measure.

And I thought this was a taxi site, not the joke forum

What opportunity would that be then?

Lighten up.....in answer to all the above except the last which i'll answer.

There are very few people in the taxi trade that are given the opportunity to write their illiterate thoughts in a national magazine......for that opportunity I'm thankful......some people even agree with those thoughts.

I never volunteered or put myself forward for the role I have within the NTA...........indeed, sometimes I wish I hadn't accepted the job, but in doing the job i have met many different people from different areas with different attitudes towards me and the cab trade.

Some of the people I've met and spoken with are posters on this site, we agree on many things and disagree on a few, either way I actually like all the posters on this site who I've spoken to and met......I try to understand their views, and accept many of them as being quite parochial to where they are......victims of circumstance perhaps.......or through the selfish views of some locally.

I was given this opportunity and eye opening through the NTA, and not all are as lucky.

Oh, I thought writing for a taxi mag was more scraping the barrel rather than a badge of honour.

Oh, silly me, I was thinking about Taxi Today Monthly, not the dazzling heights of Taxi Talk. [-(

BTW, isn't there something silly about the title since they changed it to Taxi Today Monthly. Oxymoronic, innit? :-k

Assuming it still exists. :-({|=

You have a really strange attitude, do you drive cabs?

You really dont have to read what I write, but you can write in and point out the very many spelling and grammatical errors.....I never asked you to read it.....but you react.....fun huh?

All from an under educated halfwit like me.....and you're hangin

Thats whats so funny about Judas taylor.......he gets a semi every time he gets a letter printed in some daft local rag........taxitalk gets hand delivered to drivers on the ground......how powerful is that to his audience?

I can't be the only one that see's the irony in this......and yes, I'm good.
