Hi All,

Im new to these forums and new to taxi driving been doing this just over 12mths now and have a quick question, in ur opinion what would be excessive mileage for the ££..... eg takings of £100 using 64 miles in ur opinion would u say this is acceptable for the £100 takings? thanks in advance for any responses and sorry if ive posted this in the wrong section :)

Seems about right if you work in an urban setting.

However different areas have different ways of working.

The game around town is earning £2 per mile so your 64 miles is pretty good, My Metrocab automatic over that distance would cost in deisel around £18 = £82 profit, try and better that 64miles too your £100 turnover although you have set a good target, in Edinburgh during rugby weekends i try and do £3 per mile, reaching this level means lots of small journey's but a higher profit margin is gained, making me very :D
