Often complaints are exagerrated but the cab office know this.

All that gary has achieved by his silly actions is to make himself out as someone that is looking for trouble at every turn, and enjoying it.

This makes his a lot less believable.

He has got just what he wanted, and he will have to take the consequences.

jasbar, do you not think asking for personal info on a named individual, on an open forum, may be in breach of his human rights, and in particular his right to privacy?

Him and Skull haven't got the brains to think about that. I hope this guy takes the both of them to court and takes them for all they are worth then, when they come out of court give them both the pasting of their lifes.

Well, we will be clutching at these straws in the Court of Session. And all the way to the European Court of Justice.

Enjoy the ride.

Ruined careers and wads of compensation are a powerful incentive.

This gona be an expensive festering sore for this council for a considerable time to come.

A nice start to Sue Bruce's tenure.

The structure and performance of the legal department is her ultimate responsibility. She needs to rein it it in and conduct a root and branch eview of its shennanigans.

Skull passed up his Human right when asked to attend a meeting with Frank, Skull knew he had the right to attend that meeting with a lawyer, Skull dug his own hole, good luck to him though but what a silly route to take in the first place!! Huh a cabbie not knowing which way to go

I guess some coherent thought tinkled over your mind before you typed your incoherent rambling Dougie, but you'll have to explain it to us.

On second thoughts don't bother.

BTW While you're on.

I got a card through the door from your pal Kenny MacAskill. You remember him. he's the failed lawyer, pretendy politician who freed Magrahi on the basis that he had less than 3 months to live. That was over 15 months ago.

Now the card is asking folks what issues are important to them in the forthcoming elections.

This is what politicians do when they're in trouble. They haven't a clue what to do, so they ask the electorate for the words they wants to see and the regurgitate same to the electorate in the hope they are fooled into believing that the politician will deliver for them.

desperate or what> That card tells me that MacAskill and his Scottish Nasty Party are for the off.

Good riddance to them for all time. Like the LibDems they had their chance, blew their principles and deserve electoral oblivion.

Seems you backed a loser Dougie. Not that we didn't tell you of course.

BTW Tony. Grow up.

you might want to check which one(s) your search falls foul of. I'm sure Mr Reid will.

He also has the right to silence, and the right to not attend.

This far, only his name and a portion of his statement have been published.
Both are or will be a matter of public record, once this gets to the committee.

The defence do have the right to look into the credibility and or motives of a witness.

Perhaps all of this should have been explained to Mr Reid when he made his complaint?

He sure does, and the commitee will also have the right to hear the case in his absense if no explanation is forthcoming.

Thats one sure way to have the case against you proved and maybe the license revoked, starting off more grief with an appeal through the courts.

Complaints are annoying and are usually a waste of time, but if you've done nothing wrong, then why not provide your side of the story?
If drivers really are paranoid about conspiracies and vendettas, get a £50 camera system from E-bay that films the inside and front of the cab.

Whether drivers like or dispise the system, there has to be one as there's some real clowns out there holding taxi licenses.

Skull had no need of a lawyer.

And you obviously can't see where this is going.

I wonder if Frank can?

BTW How far do you think the council will be prepared to go to protect this man?

Still talking in riddles and making doomsday threats. So where is it going? Strasbourg? Or higher still to some inter-galactic court that you have invented?

Until you pair wake up and realise the alleged "war" you're waging is all in your own heads, you'll get nowhere.

What seems to have started out as a simple complaint which could have been dealt with informally, you have turned into something more serious with your paranoia.

Yes you have the right to do it, so you also have the consequences to accept.

You're little more than a pair of circus clowns.
