I agree !!!! we where a bunch of dour f-ckers, it's the years of oppression that have finally caught up on us eh !!!, the moment of the awakening when we Scots realise your poisoned education system was designed to keep our heads low, but now we realise hey WE hold all the cards or resources, Water (we could cut off your supply) Wind (95% of all investment in Wind technology comes to Scotland), Wave (Tidal power 7 sites 8.4 gigawatts of electricity, all off the west coast of Scotland) whisky (1 bilion bottles sold last year not counting premium malts) and finally WILL power ( speaks for the majority) 8)

Vote SNP!!! Turning the Tide

P.S So much for our Robert the Bruce defending your patch, you un-grateful carlisleonian

Mmm I wonder what nationality the people that make all the investments for these benefits for Scotland are?

Well here's a clue Toots. It sure aint the English.

because the English failed in the enterprise stakes long ago.

Any English capitalists, like the landed gentry, have squirreled their cash off-shore long ago. jersey, the Isle of Man, the Cayman islands, that's where the money that could be invested to create jobs for the people now resides. And those capitalists with that money, well they pay diddley-squat in taxes for the privilege of living here.

On a percentage basis Toots, you will be paying a higher percentage of your earnings in taxes than the Duke of Westminster.

Our airport is owned by the Spanish. The same Spanish who have edged into BA. My power supplier is also Spanish. Insurance companies Dutch. Our tram line is (not) being built by Germans.

And the English are where?

Well. they're still saluting officers before being forced over the top to their extinction.

Toots. You should be ashamed to be English. I'm ashamed for you. because you're Little Englander mentality has saddled us with Little Scotlander plonks like Private Reggie, the cretin formerly known as Dougie Brown.

I blame YOU Toots. Your cancer of blind compliance to an unjust Monarchical control structure has left us bereft of any global future.

And that's why every country on this planet that has ever found itself under the yoke of London can't wait to shed the shackles of Westminster.

If you believe anything other than this then, based on your past meanderings, I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

I already know that, you must think I'm as daft as you  I was merely suggesting it wasn't because of the Scottish

Well I'm not ashamed to be English so you needn't bother yourself being ashamed for me

So Scotland is doing really well then with the investment from other countries

You blame ME, wow. You idiot it has nothing to do with me. Society is ruled by those that have power. Power changes hands all the time. As they say all men are created equal but they certainly don't stay that way for lots of reasons. You know very little about me so don't judge what my complaince may be just because you believe my opinion regarding the taxi trade is wrong.

I love the way the Scots seem to think it's their oil. It's almost as if they ever had a navy

As for Jaspar thinking the scots subsidise the english......hmmmm, aint so sure about that.....how many people live in scotland? Is it about half the population of London?

Personally I think the Scots should have independance.....so long as you take back those relatives of mine
