I watched the original Panorama ‘Crash for Cash’ programme and it was riveting and highly annoying.

I was seething by the end of the programme.

Here’s the iPlayer link for the programme; watch it all from start to finish;

Well with all the traffic problems in most cities that guy with the tractor could show you a thing or two just hook up a trailer with seats or do a cut job on an old cab leaving the passengers screen in place, and attach a tow bar, then your insurance would only be £57 a year

No I ain't.

I use a bulk email system now for insurance quotes and have done for about 5-6 years.

A couple of mates have just asked how I do it and I have emailed them a quotation letter template and the list of insurance broker and company email addresses which they will use this year as they are getting quotes around the £2,000+ mark at the moment.

And if I can't get a reasonable quote using my system, then God help the rest of the UK's cabbies.
