Whatever it is, will still be a sh*t lot more than we have now.

The only thing that we will have a Sh*t lot more of under King Eck is Debt...The EU wouldnt want us. we are a liability that may scrounge more from them than we put in.

The guys buying Votes using money Borrowed through westminster who in turn Borrowed it from some other international funding.

Lets be Honest....We cannot go on spending the SNP way, there is no limitless revenue pit of north sea oil money...we do not even have a limitless pit of home grown workers, half of our lot are Buroo Happy and dont want to work.

In short we are commited to the Union as an equal partner simply in order to survive....we cannot pay for all those foreign grafters without westminsters help and nor can we pay the Dole wallahs without westminsters help either...I dont much like it but thats the reality of living in a tiny country, you need all the friends you can get!!!

We have no influence in Europe at the moment, because others talk for us and put their own needs ahead of ours.

Westminster has used oil revenues to prop up the English economy for decades.

As for committed, we are not but perhaps we should be for allowing our neighbours to run our affairs for the last 300 years.

The greatest trick of all is taking our money, using it as they saw fit and convincing us they had our best interests at heart.

You still dont get it!!!...we have always been a partner within the UK, we have had Several Scots who have been Prime Minister of the UK, We have always punched above our countries small size in the UK.

If we appear to be a Small fish in the Big UK pond we will Certainly be an even Smaller Fish in the huge EU Ocean..with no say in anything, we would be bullied into everything we dislike most and overlooked on what we see as benificial policies. we would be p1ssed on from a great height by faceless eurocrats.

No..Sorry, Id much rather have some input in our affairs Via Westminster, Ive seen what a bunch of inept political tossers can do at Scottish Parliament level and I am buggered if I want these clowns to have any more power than that which they already have.

Gordon Brown? Very popular he was with the English
I'm actually struggling to think of another in living memory.
Alec Douglas-Hume maybe?

I fail to see how being pi$$ed on by London and Brussels is better than just being pi$$ed on by Brussels. :?

Inept tossers are not limited to Holyrood. There are plenty at Westminster as well.
But you keep on believing that English dominated Westminster will look after your Scottish interests better than the Scots will.
While your at it, why don't you let one of your competitors run your taxi business for you?
Surely he would look after your interests before his own

Im not Talking about being run by competitors....just think who Sporran & McTavish Cabs of Snpburghshire will have to compete with when Alex Salmond invites every European Migrant over here to work, thats his aim...I am already competing with half of Europes migrants on my door step and Eck, god of eyebrows wants even more of em...

Its not a case of being run by competotors, Its more a case of being over run by competitors...

These migrants are here because of Westminster policy, not through the actions of the Scottish government.
The invites went out years ago, sent by Europe after Westminster agreed to it in our name. A state of affairs you support.
They negotiated the entry of every impoverished former soviet state on our behalf, or had you conveniently forgotten that?
Scotland got no say in it, just like we got no say when Westminster handed our fishing industry to the Spanish and the Portuguese.
Just like we will get no say when Europe let's Turkey in.
It's also Westminster who have allowed every economic migrant with a sob story into the UK. Again Scotland got no say in it.

You want to chuck blame around, at least chuck it where it belongs.

"Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."

Maybe that should be the SNP's Motto...

Really..you should read more, and not just the Teuchter Gazette or the Ecks Mirror .

The Europeans you speak of are all EU citizens, permitted to live and work here by the UK government accepting Directive 2004/38/EC of the European Parliament.

It seems you did conveniently forget that.

bloodnock wrote:

As stated, the Europeans were allowed in by Westminster years ago.

You and your right wing mouthpiece seem to be at odds here...... :?

No mention of the coalition doing anything about the half of Europes migrants on your door step, nor any plans to stop the other half joining them.
Just a crack down on the numbers of people from outside the EU being allowed to work here legally
Nothing being done about the overwhelming amount already doing it illegally.
Nothing to speed up their removal from the country.
Nothing to stop any Tom Dick or Harry throwing away their papers and staying for years because the government can't deport them.

.....still the mail is a heavier read than the NOTW.
Perhaps they should produce a dumb down version for all their new readers
.........smaller words and bigger tits......

BTW I'll leave The Teuchter Gazette and Sheep Shagger's Monthly to you.
Perhaps you can borrow them from one of your European neighbours.....

Why should we have to take them just because they are from the EU.

Is it not time we had a Vote on staying in or pulling out of the EU, I wasnt Old enough the last time they allowed a Vote on the Common Market and I feel I have been denied a say in the matter...certainly Eck the Brow wont ever allow a Vote on it as he's to busy Kow Towing to every body and any body who might just be daft enough to take him seriously...He wants a cushy number in a safe EU post after he's F*cked up the UK including Scotland.

Because Europe says so, with the permission your beloved Westminster gave them.

I agree.
This is beyond the remit of Holyrood, so you had better ask Westminster.

Eck can't have a vote on it.......try asking David and Nick, the tweedle dumb and tweedle dee of Westminster

As for cushy EU numbers, I thought that was the domain of failed Westminster politicians.....after their electorate reject them....Kinnock, Mandelson, Brittan, Patten........
