Hi guys new here,

thinking about setting up PH, never driven taxi but been self employed good number of years, business closed jan past non taxi related, and really need to do something :)

would be based in stirling. would have liked a Taxi, but called council today they said they havent given out a taxi plate in years ,

Im sure I seen somewhere on this forum making an appeal for a taxi? what would i need to do?

also any recommendations for insurance? for new badge holders

Don't appeal anything. Well at least until you have understood the trade and if you actually want to stay in it.

IF you want to have your own vehicle then license it as a PH, and join one of the local circuits.

If you just want a drive then license as a taxi driver and drive someone else's for a little while until you find out what's what.
