I gave an honest answer as to why I think we have these problems, as to why they are caused, and followed up by saying that basically if the wealth was spread fairly then there would be no reason to steal...........because people would have plenty.

What we are witnessing is the result of financial suppression/deprivation, and a system that has encouraged generations not to work. Having said that, they are not as you would have us believe..........all the same.

I gave you what I thought was a fine example i.e BP in showing/demonstrating the greed of big companies, and you come back by saying my car was built by big business!!!!

I am not saying that we should not have these things, I am saying if you read the post thoroughly that the workforce should share in a bigger slice of the profit, instead of taking wage reductions.

There are white people out there who have sent off over 300 job applications and gotten nowhere. Just say that was you and you saw the world getting richer and your family getting poorer, no job, just the dole. The chances are that you would fill up with resentment, which then turns to criminality.

There are here We don't have a huge black population here in fact it's not often that I see a black person here, but, we have seen an increase in asians over the last few years. Last night I believe yobs set fire to Primark, Iceland and Netto. Probably the stores that their parents feed and clothe them from, so go figure the mentality. I don't understand how this can be turned into a racist argument when it's just yobs taken advantage of a situation.



I'd like to believe this but the cynical side of me doesn't. The more you give the more they want. I would like to see more profit sharing within businesses and industry as standard or perhaps giving employees shares within the business they work. This would encourage loyalty and production. If the wages aren't brilliant the dividends might make it more bearable

Mark my words, Cameron will regret the day he declared war on an underclass with nothing to lose. Yes, he had to show a strong response, but I think he's totally misjudged the situation. Not only did he need to show strength. He had to lead them in the belief. They were not completely abandoned by society.

Cameron's response is a, “we don't give a [edited by admin], and if you don't like it, we are going to get tough.”

These young adults will be quick to learn from their successes and their failures, and you don't need to be a master tactician to know what that means. The government is up against an enemy that can melt into the urban landscape and reappear at a time of their own choosing.

If criminal elements seize the opportunity to control and organise these kids, hit and run looting will become almost a permanent feature in city centres.

If people think, it's scary now wait until they are living with the worry of what might happen next, for a few months or even years.
