Not sure if this is possible, well that's a lie cos I am sure it's not, nevertheless some chap has put up a petition on the gov site that some TDO members/lurkers may wish to sign.

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/7337

It appears this petition has overwhelmed the gov's site. So please be patient if you don't get in straight away.

97,189 have now signed this petition, but I still can't get into the signing page!!!

So the answer is to make matters worse by forcing the underclass into committing further acts of criminality to support themselves.

Put yourself in their position, you might start robbing taxi drivers just for food. If you need money and can't get it you will take it from someone who has it. Not every one will beg on street corners.

And what's the worse that can happen, you get locked up three square meals a day and a warm bed.

It's a hell of a plan. :-|

Kaiser Chiefs: We knew this was going to happen

Kaiser Chiefs front man Ricky Wilson said today that in spite of long-term criticism about the band's predictions, they felt vindicated in the light of current events.

"We've been saying for years that this was going to happen," he told reporters at a press conference earlier today. "We could see the writing on the wall way back in 2004, and we've told people at every concert since. Unfortunately, we have been proven correct."

Ricky said that a few days ago he'd been watching the people get lairy and added "It wasn't very pretty, I tell thee." He went on to say it had got to the point where walking through town was quite scary. Indeed, he advised that it wasn't very sensible either.

Asked if he had any specific advice in the current climate, Ricky said, "Don't argue with a man in a tracksuit about a taxi, and don't look the wrong way at a policeman."

Now that the Kaiser Chiefs ability to foretell future events has been scientifically proven, the question of other predictions has to be asked. Ricky was a little reticent, but suggested that it was possible that although he had never been this far away from home, he might have crisps for tea. When pressed for more information, he told reporters, "I wish I could give you undivided attention every minute of the day but I can't."

If we followed that thread of thinking then we would never punish anyone, as all punishments have a effect on people's earning capacity.

Drink driving bans being just one example.

We need to ignore what may happen to people that break the law, if punishments have indirect effects then so be it.

The law is the law, don't break it and it won't break you.

The point surely is, if these people aint got a pot to p*ss in now......taking away any benefit they have will only force them to steal more.

Maybe so but, the Legal system has been bound by the softly, softly approach far too long...the Law needs re-written and, human rights needs ammended in order to attain any such punishiment to befit the crime. Not to mention a Penal system that's at overspill.
Build new prisons on un-inhabited islands off the coast of the UK, and rid society of those deemed unfit to remain in it. But what exactly at present is, the full force of the Law ??

let the cops wear hoodies and face masks and no badges. lets see if the riffraff wanna mix it and feel what a big stick feels like

some communities not wishing to be raided assembled a few big lads ready to do battle (maybe ex-millwall intercity) but cops didnt appreciate thier offers of help, wheres the BNP when you need them?

It's not necessary for a legal system to take action if successive governments don't create an underclass of disaffected youth in the first place.

Find the cause and fix the problem.
