Instead of looking at the situation from an objective point of view and the reasons behind what caused the riot, possibly a poorly educated underclass of disaffected youth excluded by society, Wannabeeahack would rather see it as a race issue. Possibly, something to do with the demographics of an inner city's most disadvantaged areas.

Although I have lived all my life in this country and no doubt longer than him,I know the feeling well (and I am white).


Unfortunately that is all he can see, followed up by questions,questions, and even more questions. There is no depth in his reasoning or muted replies, and he does not seem to realise that it could have quite as easily been white faces.

In his mind they have all had the same chance as the next man, but if you follow history the black man has never had the same overall chance and been suppressed for centuries. The result being is that an underclass has been created that is now spilling over into white estates (we see the little scroats) most nights. This is how things start, only the next time you will see a lot more white faces.................it is simmering.

I used to train with guys from Glasgow in a gym of the Great Western Road many years ago.

I think you would be hard pushed to pull them together to loot or riot as they very much stick to their own territory. These lunatics fight over boundaries such as stretches of road and walkways that separate their areas. I don't know if they would see social deprivation as an excuse to justify a riot.

And they've always had the sectarian violence of a weekend at Ibrox or Parkhead football stadiums.


I think what's happening in England, is unique in the demographic make-up of its disaffected youth, spread throughout its inner cities.
