I fully commiserate with you. Back some years ago my wife and I were going through a difficult period and eventually worked our way through it.

At the time I told her she could have the house, the contents, the car etc BUT! YOU DO NOT TOUCH MY GOLF CLUBS!!!!

One does have to get ones priorities right :D

Having said that, we are on about rioters and is/was your child wayward before it all, or did they get caught up in some of it and just go off the rails this once, much to your/mine surprise. I suppose you could generalise...................would you do it taking all into consideration? AND! do you have that much faith in British/government justice?

They both received police cautions after admitting taking the clubs. The other lads parents have not spoke to me since.

If they where as good as CCs they would not have got much for them
CCs handy cap is his clubs
You should have spoken to the other lads parents first and possibly they would have bought them back for you

So you bring your children up to "tolerate" people that are not white. You don't bring them up to embrace people from all races, colours and creeds.

Dont really get you.is it meant to be sarcastic ? As for the would i hand my kids in to the police,it all depends on the crime they were meant to have commited.

How would you have felt if they'd got 18 months?

Not sarcastic at all. Why should it matter what crime they had committed?

This thread just shows how broken Britain is!!!

There are some on this thread that have no idea, not a f*cking clue, about morals, right and wrong, what is acceptable in society and what is not!!

No wonder we have a Broken Britain!!

FFS!!

I think BC may be alluding to the fact it's broken from base to summit. There's alot of repair work to be done, but who's got the wherewithall to do it? The people or the elected/privilaged?

I would have felt fine. That would have been 18 months for them to reflect on their actions. I don't think that this was the first time that either of them had done something like this and it wasn't the last.

He re-offended anyway. Do you think that by not punishing people that do wrong that they will stop doing wrong?

The courts will jail 90% of those that have been arrested over the riots.

And I say well done to them. =D>
