the punter pays for use of the terminal.....the driver pays for the terminal....the fare is either to the benefit of the driver and disbenefit of the passenger or vice verse.

take advice....take the punter to the cash machine its easier.

I'm inclined to agree with you but I do think there is a place for the terminal

If I were trading in a Metropolitan City Centre, not having a terminal would be slow suicide.

But in a Town, or Mini City, you might be hard pressed to justify the costs incurred.

I agree , but my work is aimed at airports either in, out or hopefully both, so client would pay proir to departing so no issues there, just if you meet someone at the airport just off the plane, tired etc they just wanna get in the motor and away... card is easier all round , but im sure they will have thought they need to pay for the transfer home and get to a cash point in the terminal surely !!??lol

If you are going to do Airport Transfers, you are going to have to do some serious thinking about how you handle the Costing of Delayed Return Flights. You could be spending several hours waiting for your Customer to land.

Most of us that do airports will track flights so that we don't arrive early and have to wait around.

And that's when you/they need a credit card.

ive live flight tracker so no waiting around, but if flight is delayed only prob - is if another booking follows after...

I must get one of them if they can tell if it's going to be a 30 minute wait for Border Control or a 5 hour wait. :?

Our contracts for airport jobs have all eventualities covered for lateness from how long we will wait and how much it will cost. We have provision in the contract for the vehicle having to leave because of other work booked in. We have only ever had one problem with this and that was when a customer put the wrong date on the booking form.
