How quickly we've all been manipulated into thinking £1.38 a litre is cheap for Derv.

FFS, 10 years ago we were paying 72p a litre. :sad:

You are right. People fall for it all the time. Put the price of somethinng up for a bit then everyone thinks it's a bargain when it comes down a bit.
As for fuel prices. We have 4 petrol stations in town. 3 of them are at £1.409 per litre and the other is at £1.429 per litre. The cashiere told me that loads of people had complained over the weekend but they still filled up at the higher price.

Nobody ever mentions "Tesco" fuel prices (always dearer down here by a country mile) !!!!!!!!!!!! and they wonder as to why shoppers are falling away :roll:

The quicker the price of fuel falls, the more "gorgeous" George Osbourne is rubbing his hands in glee at the thought of bunging up the fuel duty (and therefore VAT as well,) to take up the slack.
