And if you have a congregation [they are holy in their own minds ] of these organisations at a given meeting, then you might well get different opinions that can be persuasive to some at meetings and on the whole a balanced view when taking all those views into consideration.

They lack legitimacy because they have not demonstrated to this day that they have a membership, let alone a membership that merits the use of the word 'National' in their title.

[I went from town to City onto the taxi ranks, provided them with copies of what was happening, then spoke to the leaders, and then set up times and dates for them to meet with the committee. that is what should be happening now.

And most trade organisations, either local or national, tend to be quite limited as regards their representation.

The National Taxi Association, for example.

The thing I find quite frustrating is, that to my knowledge, there is no such thing as a national PH Drivers association and boy do they need one the way they are being sh*ted on!!

Apathy, 'someone' is bound to do it for the trade syndrome, Que Sera, Sera syndrome, etc, etc.

So it has nothing to do with cost? I have all the time in the world but no free fuel so it's out the question, perhaps that is more like the reason it isn't done

Mind you, with the numbers viewing the TDO Forum of late, I think the word could be spreading on the ranks and in the PH offices.
