Didn't see Exel there, but the usual suspects were in attendance, plus three Law Commisioners on the first day and two on the second.

The Law Commission stand was next to the Unite the Union stand and there was some fun on the first day when a Merseyside Unite rep took exception to something an Aquacars [Portsmouth] guy said. Something about theiving or such like [Miss Toots can give more details as she understands the dialect] and there was nearly a set-to, with raised voices, squaring up, eye-ball to eye-ball, all right at the Law Commission stand. Several of us stood up from our seats just in time to cool matters down and 5 minutes later the parties were all talking to each other at the side of the LC stand.

Mr RP of the LC must have been well impressed.

I take it you've never been.

There's more taxi stuff there than PH. In fact the taxi stuff is about 80-90% of the exhibition, but some might want 110% taxi stuff before they attend.

I go most years just had a lot to do and didn't think it was worth bothering this year mind you it's never been quite the same since they moved it from Donnington there were a lot more interesting stands offering a much greater variety of product than seems to be the case nowadays it's 99% vehicles, insurance and booking/despatch systems there isn't a lot of innovative or useful stuff there in recent times

Maybe the reason there are less exhibitors/suppliers must be down to the restrictions/de-restriction issue.
