If the LC have done research and if the cab trade knew jackshite about the cab trade, they'd know before Cromwell (the [edited by admin] who destroyed Ireland and basically was my reason for being in the godforsaken sh*thole that is England.....pending research by a lazy scouser), boatment were licensed to take people across the Thames.......coz there was only one bridge :wink:

I don't think scousers are lazy it's just some people are impatient but they may yet be pleasantly surprised, that aside, what happened when the oarsman oar broke? Did they contact an oarsman in the Mersey for help?
