Mick is right about his site wanting to know who is who. BTW Mick I signed in under my own name. My complaint was about censorship and vetting posts from a known name. I think there is a world of differrence between the known and unknown (guest). The known can be answerable for a post. And so they should be. Also the KNOWN should not be banned. This may lead them to adopt other names or sign in as a guest.
All this is a bit different to signing in as guest. There could be many guests.
Take me on this post for instance I have been a guest at The Coach and Horses in Bramblehurst. No bugger new who I was.
All this anonymity can be a dangerous game when people are not accountable for their actions.
How can you put an invisible man in the dock?
Prosecution: "Is that the man"
Witness: "Dunno I can't see him"
“The game is only beginning. There is nothing for it, but to start the Terror. This announces the first day of the Terror. Port Burdock is no longer under the Queen tell your Colonel of Police, and the rest of them; it is under me—the Terror! This is day one of year one of the new epoch—the Epoch of the Invisible Man. I am Invisible Man the First.”
