it is a bit small yes but the fuel economy is good and only £30 a year road tax and the car is HUGE

well it will seem huge after an Octavia, but how much bigger than a mondeo is it?
the rear seats are about the same width and legroom but you get more headroom and the boot is bigger and its cheaper my brother got a brand new one in march and he let me have a shot of it and the power is not that much different but the space in the cabin is SUPERB

and yet the Mondeo is 1500mm tall vs the Super's 1462mm, im 6ft tall and theres plenty of headroom

but you only sit in the front seat, i NEVER try a car on a forecourt from the drivers seat first, i always get in the back to try head and leg room, when i talk to other drivers i also try the passenger and back seats, i know the last Octavia was smaller than my Mk3 Mondeo

plus ill never need a cambelt....lol

comparing 2009/2010 cars (Mondeo/Superbs) diesels, same mileages, etc im seeing the Ford being cheaper than the Skoda, id never buy new again, someone else can have the depreciation costs

either the mondeo depreciates fast or the superb depreciates slowly

or maybe there are simply more ex-fleet Mondeos for sale than Superbs? (which seem to trade on the VAG connection when it suits to bump prices up)?

at auctions (we live near a BCA site) prices for one model drop when there are 20 identical cars going through
