One of our local guys has just bought an ex Addidon Lee Galaxy. I wonder if they treat their vehicles better than the drivers? He said its a peach. Late 2009 90k+ miles but FSH and he claims to have paid IRO £7500!

Not a bad price that, they seem to look after their motors unlike they do their drivers.

How come wannabee? Best guess, no spare wheel? I only suppose that cos we are on the mailing list for news letters from a couple of LA's and this issue has just come up.

I think it is the access to the rear seats.

You could be right. Don't think its a problem around here cos there are some of the previous model ones still going around along with Alhambra's and Sharan's

It does amaze me that some LO's think they know more about vehicle safety than bona fide car manufacturers that sell 000's of the things! #-o

The last clutch and DMF that I had for mine was around £500. Still a lot but not a grand.

Never ceases to amaze me why one area will license a certain vehicle but not another, sorry I can't pick up in your area (PH) in my six seat Zafira /Galaxy/Robin Reliant coz your LO don't like them :x. But of course you can it just makes a mokery of the whole system #-o

I drive a 55 plate auto. It's a real nice drive. No issues with plating them, Zafira or Sharrons up here. I prefer it to the '07 plate transit that I have some nights.

The ex Addy-Lee Galaxies are all automatics IIRC.

I had my Sharan converted to a solid flywheel and clutch for under £500 a couple of years ago. No flywheel required next time so should be considerably cheaper.
