No problems here on romney Marsh, all main roads, and minor side roads well gritted for once. Well done Kent County council (even though it makes me puke to say so).

All our schools open in the area, though 188 closed elsewhere in Kent.

The winter tyres on the car help no end, well worth buying a set. 8)

We get through, we're professionals, got NVQs to prove it :p .

One of the schools that we go to has just rang to say that they will be closed all week. The temperature is currently above freezing and the roads are clear.

Sorry I missed this post.
No we don't get paid for the school runs when the school is closed. The exeption to this is where we have already set out for the run BEFORE the school has been closed. We then get the payment for that journey.

Snow being a pain down here again tonight.

Well not really as it's just taken Mrs Sussex 4 hours to get home from work.

Allowed me to really enjoy the football tonight, radio on one game, and telly on another. :D
