well good news Andy Managed to get his car into the garage yesterday and got it back today, they had a cancellation and offered him the space, so took his car in when they opened in the morning and they had the part in stock so they managed to fix it and he got it back in the afternoon today, was quite suprised at that so he happy with that not the price though, but they fixed it up and is working like a dream and the fuel consumption has improved massively

Ask "bulldogdrummond" what he thinks of vectras !!!

Did I hear my name mentioned.....Vectra 1.9CDTI SRI 150bhp Estate I had, massive car, it ate flywheels for breakfast (4 in under 80k), had a new inlet manifold at about 50k, yes ate pads and discs if I remember correctly, and had the strangest handling I've ever come across.............I hated that car with a vengeance, so did my bank manager. I darn near gave it away, and won't be buying another Vauxhall anytime soon!!
There was a previous thread about the Vectra, see below.

still don't understand why he took it to Vaux as I said to you could have had it done for half the price.

Massive car but no room for the passengers in the back if the driver was 6ft or over.

i have to problem with leg room i'm only 5 ft 7" and passengers praise the room in the back so even benefits more of the superb's rear legroom, but i don't think the vauxhalls are made for taxiing
