It's the word TAXI which isn't allowed. The motor is ok.

Well this morning went out to the car and tons of snow again, and had to brush it all down, must say the superb heats up fast, went out and started it and left it for 15 minutes idling and it had left cold and was slowly going up, the octavia didn't warm up until you drove it, but the superb doesn't handle the snow as well as the octavia, was sliding a bit today and the traction control was intervening Image Image

i usually sit in it while its heating up waiting for a hire, and sometimes go into the house and get something to drink and if i'm inside the house i watch it at the window and since it's in the drive shouldn't matter it the car is on or off, can see the point on a public roads but in my own drive? i'l decide if the car is on or off

on your own property its not an offence but still not covered by insurance if nicked

would be a shame if it went off down the road............

doubt anyone would nick the car i have been living in this house i'm in the now since 1982 and never had any car's stolen at all had the windows put in on some of them mainly down to golf balls, and had one of my old wooden garages burnt down nearly taking the house with it, was very slippy today and the ESP was cutting in allot, saved me earlier on today was going round a roundabout, roughly 10MPH or so and started to go into a slide nearly vertical and could feel the traction control helping straighten the car up was a scary moment and the guy in the passenger seat was screaming his head off, i was panicking thought i was going to hit the bus beside me but managed to miss it, was a hell of a day and hope the snow clears up soon

15 minutes a day ticking over will really hurt your MPG

once the windows are deiced (not by the engine) i drive 1.5 miles and heat starts to come through, at 3 miles its warm

when i go out in the morning i start the car, cause i sign on to the system in the driveway, wait for a hire and then go and it will only be a 2 minute drive away, so if i start the car as soon as i get the hire the car will be freezing when the passengers get in, so if the car has been turned on for 10 minutes or so it will be warmer for me and them
