At Heathrow for a short wait i park down the road by the AirVets place, no hassle no lines nothing.

For Heathrow T1 and T3 I usually got to Tescos just off junction 3 of the M4. 3 hours free parking and a cafe. If the weather is nice you can watch the boats on the grand union canal. :mrgreen:
