I would contact a couple of the firms advertising. They will be able to answer any questions you have.

Yes you probably earn that as a minicab driver, but you will be expected to work a 12 hour shift, for 5 - 6 days a week, and of course you now have to be registered at the PCO.

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/pco/ph_licensing.shtml

Do yourself a favour and sign up for the knowledge, you can make £500 easy for doing a Friday and Saturday night, and, most importantly you are your own boss, your own hours, and your own choice of how and where in London you work.

Good luck.

Quite hard to pass the knolege test, pick up a book called Knowledge test for beginners.
Find it under N in the library

All you need to do is get a badge in Mansfield and you will instantly become a Cab driver. But you can expect to do at least 89 thousand miles a year for 200 per week, lol. I'm afraid thats just the way it is in Mansfield.

Regards
