Perhaps their blue badges are for doing guided tours and not for disability.

It isn't, when I had my WAV I could've gone to the doctors and got an exemption certificate stopping me from pushing wheelchairs up the ramps due to having 5 operations on my back from when I got trapped down the coal mines. I didn't and carried on as I was it didn't bother me.

Well that's nice. :D
Your OK so everyone else should be too.
You should work for Atos. #-o

If they can't push a wheelchair up a slight incline due to a bad back they shouldn't be doing the job.

Hmmm :-k Does that go for the guys with saloons who avoid having to push wheelchairs up ramps or just the one's with the cheek to get a plate that they didn't pay for?

There's one idiot in our manor who's bought a rear loader (Fiat Doblo) with a free plate from the council, he thought he was going to be clever and play the bad back card, he got an exemption certificate from his doctors then went to the Council asking for a saloon plate stating to the Council that he didn't need a WAV because of his exemption certificate. They told him to do one.

Quite right too. =D>
Now all they need to do is tell the rest of you fit and able people to get WAVs?

It's nothing to do with them eating processed cook in 2 minutes shite from ASDA then topping it off with supper from the local chippy or Maccy Dees??

An hour and a ½ with me in a morning and they won't have the energy to walk to the fridge to get a drink of water never mind phoning a Taxi to go to Maccy Dees.

It's not their metabolic rate at all, they're fat idle tvvats on benefits who are bone idle.

Rant over as you were.

Nice one Adolf. Image

I suppose you actually followed every one of them around to see what they eat and of course you are privvy to all of their medical histories?

Thought not.

No we get out of the car and fold them up because the disabled punters like saloons.

Well you wouldn't be the first Adolf to try that and I doubt if you'll be the last.
Just what exactly makes you qualified to decide who is or isn't disabled? Are you God or David Icke?

All of them, or only the ones you consider matter? Good job this guy doesn't live in your area.

To anyone outside the taxi trade, the idea of making a driver with a disability drive a WAV he's exempted from loading wheelchair punters into, while allowing fit and able drivers to drive vehicles which can't accommodate a seated wheelchair user, would be the act of people who have already boiled their heads.

They might even conclude that the whole set up is just a scam that exists to protect some folks trade interests, at the expense of the disabled.

As if

theres more forms of disability than just wheelchair bound

and theres millions of Mobility cars owned by wheelchair users, why the need for hacks to have WAV's?...

im a DRIVER, thats what it says on my badge, i can see no mention of being a carer

True, but that's not the point.

There's millions of saloon cars owned by disabled and able bodied people. Why the need for saloon hacks or PH?

It says Private Hire Driver on your licence. There's no mention of being a Taxi Driver either
