I don't have to prove anything. That comes down to you because it's lunatics like you, who claim that God exists. You know, the word of God, and all that.

Well, if he does, in fact, exist, then where's your evidence? The onus is on you.

Oh and Toots, I have you pegged as a good Catholic girl...

I don't ever recall saying or even writing that God exists, I think you have me pegged wrong, but, that wouldn't be the first time :-|

I can't be that far wrong, if you only think it. So what is your religious poison of choice and what exactly do you believe, Toots?

You know. I once had a coffee with two Jehovah Witness, and by the time I was finished, this young black woman was racked with doubt, while her white partner was about ready to kill me.

Oh and the reason I mention their colour is because it just goes to show that brainwashing does not discriminate. They are all nuts. #-o

I'm starting to think that Toots, is ashamed and embarrassed about believing in the big juju in the sky. #-o

I wonder why? #-o

You are right about bad people doing bad things, but Hitler was not killing people in the name of Atheism and nor did he believe he was a God. In fact, that's a contradiction in terms.

He was just an evil nutcase that knew how to manipulate people through their fears and beliefs, a similar method to that used by brainwashing cults and religions, but it had nothing to do with Atheism.

So Adolf the atheist killed millions, like Stalin the atheist, like Mau the atheist......there seems to be a pattern emerging.

I said 'I think' not because I was doubtful, but, because that is what I did, I thought Skull has me pegged wrong. I believe it is each to their own choice, it's not my place to tell them if they are wrong or right. I have made my choice and I'm happy with it. I do however believe it is wrong to murder anybody and murderers should be dealt with regardless as to why they committed such a crime. You however want special punishment depending on who and why they were murdered, personally I think they should just be put to sleep and let that be the end of it

There is no evidence that any of the above killed anyone in the name of Atheism. Oh and Hitler was a Catholic. As for Stalin, I can't remember what his faith was, but he did have one, or at least, he had a religious up bringing. I don't know about Mau. :?

No patter here CC, it's like comparing people with similar hair dews, and giving it as a reason for mass murder. :-|

Come on Toots, you are dodging the question are you a believer or not and what exactly do you believe?

Now don't be shy...

In fact CC, Adolf Hitler claimed to be a Roman Catholic. (Winston Churchill was Roman Catholic as well as it happens, which is part of the reason he is not in Westminster Abbey or St Pauls.) Joe Stalin started to train for the Russian Orthodox priesthood. As to Mau - I haven't a clue.

Whether it was lip service or a proper Religious Conviction or whether they were closet Atheists is certainly up for debate.

Skull you beat me in the reply, but I can't be bothered to change it.

You gave a more complete reply than me anyway. You would have to be an academic to memorise all this shi*. I just read their books. :-|

Wonder what religion the pilot of the airplane was who killed 47 wedding guests in 2008 - of course he didn't do it on behalf of a religion - he did it because he was following orders - so I suppose that's so much better - except for the wedding guests obviously.

I stated right from the start that no one was ever killed in the name of Atheism, Hitler, Stalin, it matters not a jot, it just didn't happen.

Oh and I think you will find, especially in their time. It was hard not to have some sort of a religious up bringing. If you want an academic answer, then look the fu*ker up before you start making your claims. :-|

That's bollocks and let me tell you why.

It's like drawing comparisons with people who have similar mustaches or hair dews or feet size and saying, ah, they committed these atrocities because they were all atheists. It's complete nonsense.

And while Atheist, may write many books, there is no one book of which everyone believes to be, THE book. And if you don't believe it, it's off with your head. :-|

I said they were godless - I still hold that view.

I still hold the view atheists are just as likely - if not more likely to kill than those of a religious persuasion.

In actual fact to murder people for a view or a reason of some sort may well be better than murdering someone for no reason at all - personally - I don't think we should murder anyone - its certainly of little consequence to the person who's been murdered.

In the last 9 pages we have learned a few things - firstly your not a tolerant person and your beliefs appear to revolve around yourself.

Religious-based orders come down from the man the sky - the end. This is pretty poor stuff CC. #-o
