The eight people living in this house, could have avoided this situation by simply reporting him to the appropriate authorities from the outset? The only fact that can be proved is that these people lived in the same house as a guilty man?
If any of these people have committed an illegal act, let the authorities bring a case against them and let due process decide - as it did in the case of the grandfather.
