hi ive just enquired about getting a licence and have just been told that i have to give up my job as a bus driver before they will let me take my test
this cannot be right

the compony i work for does the tests

Just ask them where in the legislation it says that. :?

Or name and shame the pillock who said that, and maybe the TDO lads will ask him themselves. :wink:

Do you mean that the bus company does the tests for cab licenses? :-k

I suspect it goes back to the time when councils owned bus companies, thus they wanted to keep it in house.

use to happen in Brighton.
it was really bad for ph (when i was one) because one of the tested was a p[art time cab driver and he hated ph. :shock:
