Renfrewshire Council's Regulatory Functions Board will tomorrow discuss the next stage of the installation of a licensing regime for limousines & other special vehicles

http://www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/websited ... em%203.pdf

Local authorities in the Strathclyde Police area have been forced to act by the forces increasingly pro-active licensing department. They are responsable for reporting to the Procurator Fiscal the operator of the infamous Renfrewshire based 'crazy fire company' http://www.crazyfirecompany.com/index.html for operating without a private hire vehicle licence

Strathclyde Police have agreed to withhold taking any more enforcement action until such time as local authorities have appropiate licensing schemes in place

Yes, nearly a third of a megabyte for a little picture like that - very poor page design.

Some people seem to forget that some of us still have dial-up
