I could not give a flying feck about signage. It will generate me no more work, as I only work legally. It could cost when I sell on my car and would only save the operators a few quid in advertising (which they won't pass on to me anyway).

Let me use bus lane and stop on red routes and stop playing around with pointless trivia .

There is room for both Taxi's and Minicabs in London if we play fair!

I suppose there are many who drive private hire vehicles that would prefer to have no signage whatsoever?

Regards

I suppose he could have magnetic ones. So when Lonodn PH do their own work they can have signage on, but when they do the executive black cab work they can take them off.

I think the nearest Ollie gets to an executive, is when he picks a bloke up in a suit from Tesco.

Three cheers for London Newbie, how refreshing to have a sensible voice from the London Minicab trade!

I'll do you a deal LN.

Campaign with me so I can buy any WAV Taxi and License it for use in London as you can presently do with your cars, and I'll help you for access to Bus Lanes in East London.

Then we WILL have a fairer and more level playing field.

A Wheelchair Accesible Vehicle, IE in London, a TX2 or Metrocab Taxi.

Every one of our vehicles has to be wheelchair accesible, but thats something you may find inposed on the London Minicab trade at some date in the future.

All in the name of equality you understand.

Which Taxi's, if any, meet the Euro 3 standard already and what will happen to the rest? Ship them up north I guess?

I think you will find it a lot easier to gain access into the bus lanes if you have proper signage.

When my Metro has to come off the road next year, no one would buy it. So I will join a travelers group and go and live in it.
(And you can call me a pikee)

At least they don't pay any Tax (or have a TV license).

TTT Metro, and the TX2.

The rest require a yet unavailable euro3 upgrade kit, currently costing around £3K.

Implementation date? 7 Months! Another [edited by admin] up by the idiots that wear bicycle clips at TFL.

Anything they are prepared to allow as alternative Taxi's.

E7 looks good.
