Same happened to

Aylesbury, High Wycombe, South Bucks & Chiltern council they where all merged into 1 Buckinghamshire Council.

Aylesbury: Restricted to 50 Fully Wav Hackney (£50,000 Plate)
Wycombe: 50 Saloon plates limited No limit on Wav
Chiltern: Saloon plates limited no limit on Wav
South bucks: No limit saloon or Wav

Now Buckinghamshire Council
New Policy Saloon plates given grandfather rights, Wav to stay Wav & any new plates issued to Wav Upto 15 years old max age policy no Min New vehicle age limit.

Since new policy which started in September 21

Only new plates have been issued to Aylesbury town ranks

Rest are happy as no1 what’s Wav and continuing trading saloon plates, some even have given up their wav such as Wycombe drivers and purchased saloon plates.

Biggest affect has been Aylesbury town.
