But you have to leave at least one character in situ to be able to delete your own post. And I left a full stop
(Strictly speaking it's not a deleted post in the technical sense, because it would then disappear completely, which only forum moderators can do
But if you want to effectively delete your own post then it's just a question of editing it and leaving one character in situ - as I recall it, you can't edit a post and leave absolutely nothing there
