I can sympathise with you there Bigyin, however one doubts the legalities of the CS spray, but the torch good idea as i know you need it to see the numbers in the dark so a perfectly good reason to have it from a legal point of view. Like i say i do agree with you and know where your coming from but just look at the legal implications

cs spray copmes under firearms act and is highly illegal, use hairspray, or as someone else suggested oven cleaner :D

Hairspray is ok if your a female driver as you have good cause to have it but if your a fella, unless your going to plead that your a cross dresser i dont think they would WEAR that in court, he he he, and as for the oven cleaner well unfortunately wheres the oven in the cab, unless of course you have a microwave.Just trying to save you folks some agro later on, the torch is the best idea especially the six cell, failing that the TKD lessons, he he he

Not going to preach on this one, as I think I would rather be license-less than dead.

But I still wouldn't carry that stuff.

all are household items, wife left hairspray in car?, used oven cleaner to remove stain on carpet, do you think any court in the land would prosecute you for defending yourself if your excuse was at least plausible?

Well you know what the justice system is like in this country, and i know from experience that they will throw the book at us if they possibly can, as for the hairspray and that you have a fair point as after all they have to prove beyond all reasonable doubt, and i wont argue with those comments as they seem to be pretty clear cut

Well you do get mens' hairspray - didn't there used to be one called Falcon advertised on the TV?

But if you're bald, having a tin of hairspray in your cab might not wash

So I might get away with it, but I doubt if Sussex or Captain Cab would :D

A can of Compressed air like the stuff you can buy to blast the dust outa your computer makes the agressor think theve been sprayed with somthing harmful for a split second or more which lets you run away or give them a good dig  and is completly harmless so no laws broken i think :?:

Wipe your mouth and move onto the next job.
Tell the controller so he can blacklist the address.
Is it worth rowing over £5,£10,£15 fare, we know thier scum bag's.
We are better than them! :)

I know it's hard, but what goes around come's around.
