I seem to recall a big hoo hah when we changed things so that only registered posters could post (but everyone could still view the forum) and it was made out to look like the end of democracy as we know it.

Or perhaps not, because the same happened with Nidge's previous forum. And by that I mean the previous forum that lasted longer than a week.

I doubt Mr Skull was the reason for taking this course of action however appealing and convenient a scapegoat he might appear. I doubt any subscribers or readers or this forum will believe that Mr Skull was the architect of making a public forum private no matter what anyone might think of Mr Skull.

I believe the real reason may have more to do in protecting someones indiscretions rather than the lamentable excuse of blaming Mr Skull.

One thing is for certain and I know Dusty and Alex will echo these sentiments and that is TDO will always remain public and open to anyone who wishes to avail themselves of the information and comments contained in this site.

TDO has always been the leader in online taxi comment, news and information and in that respect it will not change.

Nidge seems to think that I've been reading his forum avidly, but since Xmas I've only looked in when things have went belly up (one reason for this was because I thought they had closed it down at Xmas ).

However, now that's it's all secret, I've suddenly got a great urge to read it - must be a 'forbidden fruit' kind of thing
