Taxi Driver Online

Hi guys,
Im 23yrs old having full clean uk driving licence planing to do some taxi driver job. I was told that i should apply for a batch befor I can start job ! ! can someone advice me abit more about this.. where to apply..ist rerquired for CAB drivers or private taxis too?...what if i work as a delivery some companis, still need it ?

2.my geographical knowledge is not that good,does evey taxi has navigator system these days? or that I have to rely on my own knowledge

3.do i have to pay any anuual or hidden tax,.... as a registered taxi driver?

4.how long does it take to get batch !

5.any other valuable advice for doing some taxi job !

Hi, you need a badge both for taxis/black cabs and minicabs/private hire.

You may have to pass a knowledge test but each council has its own rules. You have to apply to your local council for a badge - you should contact the licensing department.

You have to pay tax as a self-employed person and normally this is in two payments, one in January and one in July.
