HEADLINE: Taxi firm accelerates to title
A taxi company has driven off with a top-notch title.
Stapenhill Cars is the Taxi Company of the Year in East Staffordshire after receiving almost 700 votes.
And the Driver of the Year is self-employed cabbie Qazi Akhtar Hussain because of his "outstanding service".
The awards, which were launched in May, were run by East Staffordshire Borough Council and were open to all drivers, both private hire and hackney carriage.
