Was it Sussex hacking the site and banning everyone? Or just a case of a poor server and an equally poor back up system from Supanames?

It would appear that supanames' server had another moment today. :sad:

Anybody got any ideas on a decent web host? :?

Even if we are paid up until Sept 2007?

Whatever you do don't use 1and 1 another forum i am on used them and their server kept on going down and in the end it packed up all together and everything was lost the company was unable to or unwilling to recover any of the data and the technicla services dept was in the phillipines and absolutely useless

Depends what you're after I suppose.

I personally never use English based hosting, I found it far too expensive and alot less reliable than hosts with US based servers.

I currently use http://www.aqhost.com/hosting-plans.php?ref=00002109 been with them around a year a never no noticable downtime.

But another host I've used in the past was http://www.colorteck.com
