TDO RULE 4 "Malicious falsehoods"

On what evidence, JD, do you base your claim, that, "TAXI drivers in Lincoln who drive some of the oldest licensed TAXI'S in the UK"? That is not a "fact" as you claim, and did not appear in the original "Lincolnshire Echo" article that you partially quoted.

I was taught to be thick skinned when I was in the SAS. But not to lie.

I ask you now to prove your allegations against the TAXI trade in Lincoln or retract.

And by the way, only my Mum calls me jimmy. Has she been gobbing off again?

Of the 29 motorised vehicles licensed byLincoln they have one that is 16 years old, several that are 15 years old, 14 years old, 13 years old, etc etc etc right up to the three 2004 models. Now if you don't think 16 years, is old for a vehicle to be licensed as a public carriage, then thats your problem but I do and so will many others. I never said the vehicles aren't roadworthy, I said they had some of the oldest licensed vehicles in the country and that is a fact.

No mention of the 06 TX11, or the several 05's so convenient you should miss them. Get the facts straight, old chap. I would estimate that most cabs were put on brand new, as was mine. I was recently stopped for a spot check by the police and was sent on my way with a comment of, "nice cab" Put your own house in order, before you start on mine.

But if the so called, "Monopoli mafia" were to return to Scunthorpe, from whence they came, the "teenage" cabs would dissapear. Overnight.

I did mention Dave Gillards 2005 black Fiat in the article I posted, however I forgot to list his vehicle in the last post which mentioned the three 04 vehicles. I also forgot to mention Pete Watsons 05 Fiat Scudo. I don't know who recently bought the 06 TX2.

You do have old vehicles going right back to G, h J, K, L M, N, P, etc etc, and so do many other authorities, Trafford even have an F but you certainly fit into the category of some of the oldest vehicles in the country. That's not to say they are not roadworthy, as I'm sure they are.

So why deem it worthy of mention?

TX2 is Luigi Ziccardi.

Ask your informed source.

Or Clair, freedom of information, and all that.

Up to 75, but I expect that to be challenged soon. Hate ageism, me.

So he sold the 2002 model, it might have been wiser to wait for the new TX which supposedly comes out this Month? Is that what your waiting for? lol

The 2002 was truly a bag of mire. So he replaced it with an even bigger one. I wouldn't have thought that a man of your intellect would have any great difficulty in surmising the age policy though, as you seem to be alluding that there isn't one.

lol I would never surmise there isn't one, I just wanted to see your reaction when I asked you. I had a feeling you would take the cloak and dagger approach and tell me to find out myself.

Secretive lot some of these Taxi associations. It seems the only persons willing to divulge any information about their area are Charlie from Bolton and Captain cab from Carlisle.

Its a good job TDO doesn't follow the same example as you and some others I could mention.

In that case I would keep it secret, you no doubt feel the need to keep something secret, so why not the age limit on vehicles. lol

Just ask me a direct question, and I will give you a direct answer, but every question you ask, like all those bloody interrogators I met, you already know the answer. So ask me a question you DON'T have an answer to. Who cares who wins?
