lol I'm glad you like my input lol.

Nice of you to respond but I wonder why the rep from Bolton didn't seek advice from the NTA especially considering that this particular incident happened way back in April 2006? Why did he wait until now to bring it to the attention of this site?

Surely it doesn't take seven months to find out if the decision by the council is kosha?

JD

JD,

you know and I know, if a LA limits numbers... it limits numbers.

It might work that way in theory and I don't expect everyone to instantly recognise why an authority can, or do issue a one off license. The fact remains they can do it if they so wish, without the need to alter their original policy. I will leave the NTA to tell the Bolton rep the legalities of such a decision, considering that is what he was after in the first place.

Regards

JD

Imposing special conditions JD?

But as I stated on another forum, far far away from here, whats to stop Mr Doblo, Mr Cab Direct, Mr Skoda dealer doing the same?

regards

CC

I take this matter very seriously and if i get it wrong could cause more problems so I want as much information as i can, what i dont need is to be in the middle of justifiying what the NTA does or doesn't do that for members, I for one or very happey with the information i get anytime and by the way i E-Mail.

Well now your picking my brains when in my opinion the NTA should be answering the query. I know you say you don't speek on behalf of the NTA and I accept that but by the same token I don't work for the NTA and if your past published comments are anything to go by then the Rep from Bolton would be ill advised to take any advice from me?

Unless of course you are a born again christian and have recently converted to the view that TDO is not the three headed monster you portrayed it to be?

And so you should.

Why not ask the Local Gov Ombudsman to have a look?

I'm assuming your having a pop at JD cos I'm being nice. Image

If the council's man is worried then it might be worth asking him what he is going to do to sort out this mess.

He might be looking for a face/job saving solution.
