This afternoon was part of a delegation meeting Ken Livingstone, obviously it was fortunate that this morning hed just beaten The Daily Mail in the high court,so everyone was very pleased that this disgusting **** supporting rag had got its comeuppance.
We discussed many issues, but of interest to this site would be,Driver Shields,Chaueffeur working hours,Bus Lanes-Red routes,Top Testing,we were promised co-operation and support on all these issues.
Of interest is the fact that a coloured woman has been appointed to the leadership of the PCO should go down well with the MASONS in there?
I must say its always highly amusing to meet Ken he dosnt beat about the bush on these occasions,we the GMB will be doing everything possibble to ensure his re-election.
ORGANISE EDUCATE AGITATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets hope the Daily Mails lawyers are'nt made aware of your comments Terry, given you position as a mouth (and a big one at that) of the GMB.
You might take the dictator Livingstones place in the bankrupt league. :wink

The London dictator promises a lot, but delivers chaos and broken promises, I think you've just been appeased and fallen for it. :D

In 2006 the term 'Coloured' is deemed 'non PC' Terrence, its Black, Mixed race or Asian.

Still at least she gets to deal with real pro's like the LTDA and the T&G.

He shares a lot in common with you Terry, he opens his gob and thinks about the consequences later, he lies to his voters over many things, the latest being the West London Tram chaos, and he's stuck in a time warp when the looney left were powerful and unions ruled Britain.

Luckily the London public will also be doing everything in their power to ensure he's kicked out before he destroys London. \:D/

To correct my touch of the Terrys in the above post, it should have read:

Its not 'pc' to use the term 'coloured' now Terrence, you should say Black, Asian, Oriental, etc. I thought you would have known better that that. [-X

Irrespective of who she is or her skin colour, I do pity her, as she will have to enter into a conversation with you at some stage. :D

It will be yet another puppet with the strings being pulled by Wolfie (2) at city hall.

I've know doubt she will be gay and have some form of disability as well, accompanied with learning difficulties just to make it P.C.

It’s good to see a bit of common sense returning.

On the main issues it would appear that an end to the blatent discrimination against private hire customers is going to end. It would appear clear that it is only a matter of time before we are given access to the red routes and bus lanes. That will be down to the good work of the progressive proprietors gathered around the Door2Door campaign and the continuing political pressure of the GMB driver’s branch.

On the issue of driver shields it is an option that is long overdue for an airing. Although some of the lesser-brained imbecile’s on this site might find it amusing when licensed private hire drivers are assaulted the majority in both the taxi and private hire trade recognises that these are men and sometimes women trying to make a living. Only the sort of half-wit's who attack the union on this site would disagree they should be able to do it in as safer environment as possible.

The same goes for the chauffeur industry and the unsafe practice of making men work 80+ hours a week making them a danger to themselves and others. The sooner the GMB gets an early day motion lodged on this issue the better.

On the top testing I am concerned that if the stories of drivers who still cannot communicate effectively is true this also brings our trade into disrepute. It is good to know that the union does provide assistance on this and I understand that any union members with numeracy, literacy or language problems can receive help arranged by the union free of charge.

It is also good to see Ken get a result against the fascist sympathisers at the Daily Mail.

Also pleased to see the mould (not quite sure that’s the right spelling) being broken at the PCO.

Or indeed the half-wits who purport to be wanabe lawyers?

Or the half-wits who cannot see past the end of their union owned noses and opinions?

What percentage of Britains workforce is / wants to be represented by a trade union? About 40%?

A real waste of a lawyer, when they're banished to live the life of a Minicab driver.

Anyway. . . .

I was on LBC 97.3 tonight Terry, James Max had a call in regarding peoples views on whether Red Ken should step down?

You may be shocked to learn the subject prompted a huge wave of support for the idea that Ken was a car hating, past his best over the hill socialist who should be removed at the earliest possible opportunity.
(Thats Ken Livingstone we're talking about to avoid any confusion)

So I guess you'll have your work cut out next time around.

Britains greatest Prime Minister had the right idea, sack him and disband the then GLC. =D>

What happened to you then GBC get lost?

Lawyer, incorrect Gormless Brain Cell I wouldn't sink that low.

Pity that the intelligensia who comment on your radio show couldn't muster enough votes at election time

This used to be a good site with proprietors pretending to be drivers and unrepresentative imbeciles bent on putting the private hire trade down. Now you keep getting real drivers on here who can string more than a sentence together it's just not on.

Feel a bit like King Canute trying to hold back the waves GBC

It's all in the anagram

Can't understand why the cab trade should dislike him. :?

He raised the night rate by a huge margin, and yes he did messs around with the exhausts, but at least he got punters to pay for it.

But then IMO the London cab trade hasn't got anyone that can look further into the future than their next job. :?

I'm just happy that I'm getting under your skin, as can be demonstrated by the above.

Agitate agitate agitate, as another well known imbecile (you seem to have an affection for that word) would say.
