In private I have got the answers from you that I need but I wonder if you brave enough to answer the following questions in public to prove what a great representative you and your lot a GMB are:

1. What contribution did you make to the engineering of The 1998 Act?

2. When did you join GMB and how wide was your base before, during and after its implementation.

3. Where you or any other involved organisation contacted beforehand on the choice of contractors for vehicle licensing and costs of licensing to the driver.

4. Which particular meetings did you attend and with whom and what influence did you exercise to improve driver’s standings on the matter.

2I joined the GMB 4 years ago after failed talks with T&G and forming a drivers Association because of lack of finance it wasnt going to be 3.succesfull.[During and after its implementation]whats implementation??
4.The Private hire Users Liasion Ctte was involved but only in a consultation mode.Consisted of GMB LPHCA PHC LMF PHB Chauffeur and exec ASS.
5 a multitude where WE changed the remit from consultation to NEGOTATION we were most definetly not welcome to some Orgs Phc [Addison Lee] but were soon recognised as beneficial
to the trade and invited onto Private Hire Board.All our actions were ratified at members meetings,which are held on a regular basis.
Anything ELSE weve nothing to hide.
