all the hired plates i know have paid for a wav application or are up in feb,
it didnt take them long to work out its cheaper to buy a wav rather than a skoda plus fifty quid a week to the liscence holder, there is bound to be at least 30 hired plates up at the next council meeting for wav plates, once they hand back the plate to the liscence holder it will be hard to rehire it
as everyone knows which are hired, if a situation arises where a plate hirer gets a wav plate but hands the hired plate to another driver with car and radio then this will mean an extra car has arrived and this will not be popular with anyone in any office, im off to count my money i had to carry my money bag in two hands tonight it was that full, in the two and a half weeks since the first wavs arrived everybody talked about the demand by people in wheelchairs nobody thought to mention the five/six/seven seater demand and this has exploded especially tonight
its these vehicles that will be the future earners in dundee...

Make the most of what your earning because it won't last for long, get another 50 cars on and you'll soon feel the pinch. If what people are saying about Dundee, lack of jobs, falling population etc etc the brown stuff is yet to hit the fan.

The difference in this case to many others, is the lads buying the WAVs to plate, are the lads who already run taxis.

However now the lads wont have to pay a bribe to non-working, non-vehicle owning, lasy bugger plate holders.

Which has already made my year for me. :D :D :D :D :D
