We have five licensed.

Our LO won't allow n/s seat in Galaxy (ie only prepared to licence with 5 passenger seats). With the Ssang Yong he requires the n/s seat to be reversed.

Lots of space in them and so far (upto 45,000 miles) we have had very few problems. Fuel economy around 37-40 to the gallon.

The step up into them is greater than say a Galaxy, we have had some problems...but some customers find them easier than a car (in so much as with a car you tend to have to get down into it). These have swivel seats that can be used for people....similar to the captain swivel seats that were on Galaxies. Once inside there is lots of space. The rear seat is a three seat bench one that can be folded or can be slid forwards or backwards to give more legroom or boot space. The two individual seats behind the driver can be reversed to give conference seating.

The running gear on ours are Mercedes 2.7 diesel (same as in the MX) with a manual Mercedes gearbox , and as i have said so far has been reasonably reliable. We have sourced spares for them for servicing and have found that whilst they are more expensive than Ford parts are not extortionate. Servicing is done every 10000.

Whilst they look like one of the ugliest vehicles ever built (like a green house has been dumped on the back of a family saloon) they have a place for those who wish to carry six passengers and a reasonable amount of luggage or possessions.

This has got to be one of the ugliest cars ever made. Strangely though, I quite like it in some ways.

I haven't had a chance to have a close look at one, but there's something about the Rodius that I quite like.

I have seen a HC plated Rodius in Fife and one on PH in Sefton, I think it's on for DELTA.

There is a dealer in Liverpool:

Gateacre Park Motor Co. Ltd
Thurne Way,
Liverpool,

L25 4SQ

TEL: 0151 428 4288

Some extracts from Top Gear magazine:

One of the most hideous designs ever. Could be called a "chastity car" for its affect on the opposite sex.

Residual values will be poor. Why? Haven't you seen the pictures?

It looks like a six-year-old's drawing of what daddy's people carrier looks like.

Based on its shocking looks we guess residuals will be poor.

OUR CHOICE:
ANYTHING ELSE
