There is plenty of drivers willing to hand the box back if this does not stop!!

If the drivers follow it through, then that's as good a deterrent as you can get.

Meeting was held tuesday night to which 200+ drivers out of 1000+ attended!
I expected more but admit that most drivers are probably unaware of the goings on at com cab. (and a few other firma in Aberdeen)
Meeting did not give much answers but another meeting will be held next month and hopefully lots more drivers will show face!
Not anywhere near a solution yet!
JD seems to know whats waht, so any ideas??
As far as we know,it seems nothing is being done wrong!!!! But if a taxi from aberdeenshire does a town to town job in aberdeen surely he is breaking the law? And i guess the Company would be too?
Meeting next week with Mr Glasgow (com cabs manager) so will keep you posted!

For what it's worth in the taxi/PH trade that's a good turn out. So don't get despondant.

So what's the council's view on all this?

Seems to me that it's fairly straightforward, so it should be even more straightforward for them, so what are they saying?

If you're that interested in the matter then surely you can ask the council youreself - after all, that's what they're there for.

Tell them what's going on and ask them if they think it's an offence in terms of section 21(1)(a) of the Civic Government Act. And if they don't think it's an offence, then why not?
