Hi

I'm new to all this but i must agree with NO TIPS do it right or not at all I drive for a company with a 13 seater with a UK COIF not EU one as most of the trucks have EU COIF witch can wipe your ass on because thats all its worth.

Also is the 13 steater left or right hand drive does it have a UK coif? or EU COIF?

So sorry Kermit but this time I think you are Muppet & must go along with NO TIPS this time

Also it was not a VOSA barrister I belive some people paid a barrister to find a new back door though VOSA/DVLA for these big lumps of sh@@ to carry up to 16

before you start i have seen my boss spend alot of money to get a UK COIF

I think as long the drivers and the vehicles are licensed then there is nothing we can do about it. In short it ain't worth fighting a battle that can't be won.

If VOSA think a 13-seat limo can be licensed, albeit under bus law, then we will just have to lump it.

Well unfortunately with to use your own terminology, MUPPETS like you around the limo industry will always suffer, you really ought to check your facts before you post, especially as you claim to be in the limo industry, perhaps though thats why your only a driver and not a boss as you dont have the interlect to be a boss, Muppets like you will only ever be a monkey that people like me will exploit, so to you i say go FRIG yourself and help your boss make his millions, i would also suggest that maybe you should find out whats happening ie the new laws regarding tacos amongst other things that are all coming in for limos, you see the net is tightening and i / We that have schedule 6 are legal and have no worries with VOSA and the like so personally i can sleep happy, CAN YOU

People like you just cant handle the fact that we have come up with a legal system but i cant for the life of me work out why you have such a problem, you make your money and we make ours, why cant you leave us be to do this and concentrate your efforts on the unlicenced mob, I personally would support you on that, warm regards

Lets get a few things straight, First you clam to wont to concentrate on getting rid of unlicensed mob..but thats you lot, self drive hire . you dont run under any rules.there is no one regulating you the drivers hours are not being regulated as there is no taco and if as we are lead to believe the drivers are nothing to do with the company, then how dose anyone know what hours are being worked by these so called independent drivers. They could be driving 20 hours a day 7 days a week all for differnt companies who would know or care.Only One barrister in his opinion said its legal, but in a judges eyes he properly wont. that's how the legal lot make there money. It surly cant be right if the vechile is unsuitable for hire & reward what makes it suitable because it has the odd hand rail fitted to then go out self drive hire.VOSA wont let them go hire & reward even after the convertion. I quite except the 8 seat limo is now legal as most councils licence them, and should do. So hiring out self drive hire the punter calls the shots. he hires the motor then hires the driver and tells the driver where to go and what to do, over the given agreed time..( i dont think so )
Pull the other one..its got bells on .
Its normal hire & reward but in a different name, without any regulation.
No different to all the unlicensed mob you go on about....
And the point about being Jealous ... no way I am not the one with the over inflated motor & ego.…so think of another name .may be concerned,
or could it be I dont like spivs and people trying to go the back door meathod with somthing as serious as public transport.

Like i said check your facts before you spout such [edited by admin], there are new laws coming in very soon regarding tacos and things for limos so to be fair as i have said the noose is tightening and i agree with you this should be done, however i do believe your terminology about loop holes is wrong and it was a top VOSA barrrister as i have it from the horses mouth ie 1 of those that paid that this is indeed the case. Self drive hire not licenced, dont be so wet thats why its self drive hire so long as the driver has the relevant qualifications to drive such a vehicle and the correct paperwork they dont need a limo licence so again get your facts straight, yet again you spout [edited by admin], but i will forgive you as to be fair you drive taxis not limos, dont get me wrong i have a lot of respect for most taxi drivers i know a lot of them as personal friends and indeed they use my businesses all 3 of them!!!!!!! Bareing this in mind i shall say most of your posts are just down to ignorance then maybe jealousy was the wrong word. As for our time being up soon, Dream on fella, as i said to so called limo driver i can sleep easy at night with no fear of prosecution i can assure you, anyway thanks for the debate its good to hear the taxi side of things from time to time anyway

Well done Sussex, you basicly have it in a nutshell and the driver has to have a pcv category, anyway i wouldn't call it a ruck more like a heated debate, dont you just love it though when even your own turn on you ie limo driver, bit like the taxi and bus companies i guess, spose we are all in the same boat really, warm regards fella

Self drive hire not licenced, dont be so wet thats why its self drive hire so long as the driver has the relevant qualifications to drive such a vehicle and the correct paperwork they dont need a limo licence

so you dont have any form of licence... who regulates you then
do the motors have 10 wk checks by vosa or as i suspect you do nothing.
,< and you moan about unlicenced hire & reward. >

you are just the same but worse as you carry 16 people[/quote]
