But that is how I class you....as good as unlicenced and not giving a monkeys.. When you bought your thing you knew dame well like all the others that they did not comply with VOSA regs. but you all think you are above there set down set of rules and you dig holes to slip through. 16 seat buses have a firm set of rules to comply with and you should too. If your vechiles are out side theses rules leave them in the USA .
your drivers are not even police checked ( except the ones that comply volentry)the whole 8 + set up is full of rouge traders even the ones who claim to be doing it right...

You are obviously one of the fortunately very few now who in my opinion are blinkered and regardless of what we do will always be wrong in your eyes!! As regard to the CRB check, well yeah ok you have a fair point there, however anyone licenced by the council or VOSA are 99% to of been through a CRB, so please before you go making accusations which are unsubstantiated please check out the facts, i would also like to point out that the 14 seater Navi which you find on the website was only purchased a fortnight ago, after doing several months research and finding out that on all the limo crackdowns NOT 1 that had the schedule 6 conversion by a certain company had been taken off the road, however any that did not comply had been taken off the road. Now try and tell me im unlicenced and not playing by the rules, You lose this argument at every angle but still you insist, i have to say now i think its getting rather pathetic and you really dont have any viable ammunition so now IMO you are clutching at straws. Back to CRB's and the likes how many taxi drivers have been crb'd and then go out and assault passengers and do drug runs and many more things that are posted on this site, come on fella get real. I appreciate the crap you guys put up with from joe public also in fact i used to drive taxis in cheshunt myself, and believe you me i could give you the names of quite a few rogue taxi drivers but hey thats their life not mine, we could go on about this all week but i think it serves no purpose you clearly have an axe to grind and i clearly am doing everything by the book wether it be loop hole as you put it or not, so shall we just leave it there now fella as this roundabout is starting to make me dizzy, warmest regards

Before you go off with your tail between your legs please answer the outstanding questions.
Why do you think you are any differnt to normal 14-16 coach/bus and dont work to the rules as set down..
what makes you think you are special and can make up your own rules.
Did you find out about the customer being libel if plod nick the vechile for a bald tyre etc, as they are hireing it under self drive rules.
If so do you inform your clients about this, that they could get a large fine if you havent kept your vechile up to scratch..(which you would never do )
but having all these agency drivers who knows how everything is treated.

I think Watcg Dog , Rouge Trader and even the Sun might like to be aware of this.
When hirering the self drive meathod you could be libel to large fines...
Its not the done thing is it really, putting your customers in this position.

I was at the Mitcham test centre taday with the 16 seat coach for test..
The VOSA boys there take a very dim veiw about the way you lot are trying to bend the rules. Watch this space was mentioned suggesting
they are on your case....

Tail between my legs dont make me laugh   , as for VOSA you ask 50 taxi officials the same question and you will get 10 very different answers, the same goes for VOSA officials, as for Watchdog and the sun fill your boots, Rogue Traders again you make me laugh   you seem to be a very bitter and twisted fella and as for the question yes it does still bother me and im still trying to get the answer but these things take time to find out the true facts, afterall i would prefer to know im right or in deed if your right and if that were the case then i can promise you faithfully i would bring it to the next ELA meeting as a matter of urgency, afterall i do have public safety very much in mind, please allow me the courtesy to find this out and i will post my findings!!!

Its not a safty issue but a moral one. Informing your clients they could be prosicuted under the road traffic act and fined by hireing your vechle. That will be a good advertising keyword.

Mr Sussex , they are limo buses :D :D

Check this out for a quality operator getting to grips with the market.

I wonder if their 'luxury cars' are licensed ?

http://www.vipcoachhire.co.uk/luxury-cars/index.html

They are a top quality operator and are allowed to operate the cars under their PSV Licence, which also means all the relevant safety inspections have to be carried out to the same specification as the bigger coaches.
So yes their luxury cars are properly licensed and insured.

Secondly, the customer is only liable when hiring a vehicle under self drive if they charge the other members in the party. They then become an opertor as they are charging a fare!

Yes yes But by hireing there own professional driver and none of the hire party driving them selfs they then become a opporator.so are liable.
