thank you maybe you all can see where I have been coming from

I think most people have reservations, even those in the Limo trade. But if VOSA have licensed them, and a brief has said everything is just 'fine and dandy', then I do have sympathy with those doing it.

Even if I do think it's illegal.

That said, by the time anything ever reaches the courts hopefully new laws should be in place to sort it out once and for all.

But don't hold your breath.

As i have stated ONLY 1 PERSON pays not all passengers .

It doesn't matter if one or a hundred and one pay, as long as the driver gains a benefit.

And if he doesn't gain a benefit, then why is he driving?

But all the others chip in there share, dont take us all as mugs we know the cost is shared in 99% of your bookings just like any other mini bus on a night out.So in practise the are all paying a fare.

Graduate As you have stated ONLY 1 PERSON pays not all passengers.

How does this stand if the police ask all your passengers if they have payed how does that work if? does this get the driver nicked? or the renters or the owners

The customer signs terms and conditions that tells them exactly what they are doing and it clearly states they are to pay and not the other passengers, with all due respect if the customer cant take that info in then is it our fault, NO, its the customers fault. Just the same as if they cant read your signs when they get in to your cab,

Example customer throws up in your cab, thats £50 soilage charge please, customer refuses and the taxi driver states and you know im right, its there in black and white clear for you to see. Ah but that aint fair right, think about that the next time you charge for this and ask yourself would you agree with the contracts then?????? As you can see its the same with the contract, if they dont adhere to it they take the responsibility, just like your pukers if they dont adhere to the signs they take the consequences

Hello Mister Graduate. I wonder if you could Clear up one small point for me, is it true or false that these limos are exported from America because once they reach six years old the American insurance companies deem them as unfit to insure , not safe for the road.?

Sussex    you need to study Hire and Reward laws , something in your chosen vocation you reall should know.

Who is the operator in this type of service?

What difference does it make if 1 or 101 people pay the bill?

What PSV license does the service operate under?
