Badger, I am dictated to by the membership that elect me.

They make the decisions ........... they form the policies ................ they decide which groups they affiliate to .................. and I do what I can to represent them in the way that they expect.

I don't take any credit for what the group achieve as it is always the efforts of the whole that give success.

Sussex and TDO are just pi$$ed because of what we have achieved and make stupid ill-informed comments because we have achieved the complete opposite of what they want.

You may think that, but anyone with any sense knows drivers are more than happy to follow the leadership's position.

And just because half a dozen drivers turn up to a meeting every now and again doesn't make it a democratic decision in realtion to the full membership.

I think you have provided more evidence that you can't see past your own front gate Suspect.

Our Association represented the majority of the trade in Gateshead and we were successful because we did what our members wanted us to.

I agree that in the main drivers look to the leadership position, but we encourage alternative viewpoints and welcome drivers who have a strong opinion and give them ample opportunity to express themselves.

Your suggestions that people do what I say is an insult to our members and supporters more than an insult to me, appart from the fact that your statement is completely unsubstanciated.

Rely on senses other than smell Suspect ................ hearing and sight are far more reliable.
