stinky pete punnters getting in blowing their last fag fumes will be commonplace, enforcers have to catch you with the cancer stick on you, this thread is the liveliest yet ,i cant wait untill july, i predict a lot of moaning and paying of fines, at the end of the day passive smoking kills and this will rule over any i own my cab/individuals rights to smoke in their vehicle , three dundee cabbies got done this week two dayshift one night, all paid up

you pick up a punter who sucks hard on his fag before getting in, exhales it into your face as they tell you where they are going, filling the cab and yourself full of smoke

can you then be found guilty of allowing smoking in your cab

Nope, in fact the guidance I received when receiving my Fixed Penalty notice advised me that I was free to stand outside my car with the window down and blow all my smoke into the car, but not to sit in car and blow all the smoke out of it. The law covers smoking IN a workplace but not smoking INTO a workplace.
